Userlytics Introduces A Comprehensive User Experience Benchmark, The ULX ® Score

Developed after hundreds of thousands of tests and refinements, the ULX® Score is a benchmark that goes beyond usability to deliver a 360º measurement of User Experience

MIAMI, FLFebruary 14, 2023 — Global remote user experience testing platform Userlytics has introduced the ULX® Benchmarking Score, a unique user experience benchmarking measurement. Going beyond existing measurements that only measure usability or satisfaction, the ULX® Score tracks 18 User Experience related attributes, divided into 8 unique constructs that Userlytics statistically identified to be the main drivers of user experience.

The 8 constructs are Appeal, Adequacy, Distinction, Usability, Trust, Performance, Affinity and Appearance. This new 360º view of the user experience allows for organizations to track their UX vis a vis the competition, as well as its evolution over time. After all, what is the point of great usability, if no one wants to use the product? (i.e.: the product has a low Appeal rating). Or what happens if users think the user interface meets their expectations, but they do not trust the content? (i.e.: the product has a low Trust score). Or what are the implications if your UI is extremely engaging, but it is not the first one that comes to mind when searching for the product or service that you offer? (i.e.: the product lacks Distinction).

Designed internally by the Userlytics’ UX Consulting team, after hundreds of thousands of sessions and refinements, the ULX ® Benchmarking Score has been statistically tested to ensure the score, and its associated constructs, help user research professionals deliver products and services that are not only user friendly, but also appealing, distinctive, trusted and otherwise deliver a unique and competitive user experience.

The proprietary ULX ® Score benchmark adds to Userlytics’ growing list of competitive advantages in comparison to other remote user experience research platforms, including unlimited seats and accounts at no additional cost, professional peer support, native integration of remote information architecture testing techniques such as card sorting and tree testing, “invisible” observers for remote moderated sessions and in-depth interviews, unlimited storage of results, unlimited concurrent testing, unlimited participants per study, automated multilingual transcriptions, and automated translations of participant user interfaces.Learn more about Userlytics and its global panel of over 2 million study participants by checking out their website, pricing plans, or by scheduling a free demo.
